El Charro in Kingfisher

Great place to eat! Staff is very friendly, service is great, food is delicious! If you have enough room for dessert, get the sopaipilla with ice cream. Very good!Out of over 50 times I've eaten here, I've had 2 mediocre experiences. Solid success rate for this place!

Good food and good service

Here for a group lunch. The chips and salsa were great and our waiter was very accommodating. The food was okay. No complaints, but compared to what I've had before I've had better. But probably the best restaurant of its kind in the area.

Very average Mexican food. Bland and unremarkable. They're just fortunate they are the only Mexican restaurant in town.

Food was excellent, server made sure drinks were full, as a parent the diaper changing area is nice.

Ahhh yes, El Charro. I absolutely love the way they renovated the place. I love the food, it’s a good Mexican-American food restaurant. If you get a beer, get it in a cold glass with salt and lime if you haven’t tried it before. They’re good, not as good as home made beers but that’s like comparing oranges to apples. Can’t really compare the two. Anyway, the staff is always nice to me and I haven’t had a wrong order yet. It’s my wife’s favorite restaurant so I take her there for our dates. It’s a good atmosphere. It has its pros and cons but it being fairly priced the pros overwhelm the cons.

Salsa tasted fermented. Guacamole was old and brown. Chicken quesadillas were bland. Wouldn't care to eat here again.

My mom and I often meet here since it's halfway between us. The food is delivered amazingly fast and the prices are reasonable. The enchiladas are great and they have really good free carrot, jalapeno and onion relish, you just have to request it.

Pretty decent mexican food. The new Acapulco salad is really good (according to my sister). It has grilled shrimp and avocado. The chips are always fresh and the wait staff friendly.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant over 15 years. Super friendly staff, wonderful food, very fast and everyone goes out Out of their way to make your dining experience a good one. Nothing bad to say. If you’re coming through Kingfisher or if you are a resident or surrounding residential, always a great place to check out. Prices are very good as well

Good service good food..

It was very good. The sopapillas were fresh made when you order them. So good, hot, cinnamon sugar on them. My only complaint was honey sauce packets instead of a honey bear. The tostadas were very tasty too. Will.diffently go back. Thanks E. and A. for recomending El Charro

If Connie thinks this is the best Mexican food anywhere.. she hasn't eaten at many Mexican food restaurants. I struggled the give this place a 2. It is mediocre at best. I had Jalisco- not good. I will drive to next town before eating there again.

The service was fast friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. The food was very good portions large and hot. Store was clean.

Great authentic Mexican dishes and the best sopapillas for 99¢!!You might not think of this place when wanting a steak, but you should try it. Both my parents really like the Mexican steak.

the waitress Joe was amazing! she was friendly always smiling. the food was prompt and delicious.. I had the #15 combo, my girlfriend had the jalisco.

It seems to be a popular place, but it just wasn't for me. In their defense I have been to Mexico and Central America and eaten their food so it's not a fair comparison. Moderately priced, nice restaurant with good service, I felt the food was ok, but had a level, bland spice palette. Just my experience, maybe take a trip to Kingfisher, OK., and see for yourself.

It was a great lunch. My husband enjoyed the sopapilla con crema.
